2

I was shocked to see the news report of massive earthquake measure 8.9 in Japan this morning. The earthquake hit Sendai couple hours ago. Luckily my friend manage to fly out of Tokyo couple of hour before earthquake strike. Tsunami triggered is up to 10m to Japan coast.

I’m now on business trip to California this week. Woke up at 3am due to jet lag. I’m expected to leave San Francisco tonight. Did not expect to see the disturbing news as tsunami warning issue to all pacific rim. Although at the other end of pacific the tsunami are expected to hit North America is the early morning.

I can’t really back to sleep, start packed my luggage and tune to weather channel and monitor the situation. Below is the extract of Tsunami Alert and expected arrival time and magnitude of the wave to California.

7:23 AM FOR CRESCENT CITY

The Japan trip was booked during March Natas Travel Fair. We don’t have time to consider as we went on the last day.

We choose the 7D Best of Honshu package. Cover most of the big Japan city. Tokyo Disneyland, Asakusa, River Cruise to Odaiba, Mount Fuji, Hakone, Bullet Train Shinkanse to Toyohashi, Kyoto Kinkaku-ji, Kiyomizu Temple, Osaka Castle, Universal Studio.

Overall the trip is just normal, the tour guide is from Singapore, nothing much in explanation just make sure everyone leave from hotel early in the morning and back to hotel as soon as possible.
