Mummy Fall Sick on 11 Dec 2009

It’s troublesome for pregnant women to fall sick as pregnant women cannot simply take any medicine without doctor prescription. I seldom take MC unless I am really sick. On 11 Dec 2009, I was really sick and seem quite serious where I got virus infection to my sore throat, fever, running nose and coughing. I woke up in the morning and after having breakfast, I went to see doctor at nearby neighborhood clinic. The doctor is very un-professional when I told him my sickness and asked for medicine which will not affected to my baby. He asked me back what kind of medicine I wanted? In the end, I put aside the medicines given and look for 2nd doctor at night together with Xiang Gong.
We search around Jurong area to find if there any women clinic accepts for outpatient visit. Most of the women clinics only accept for pregnancy visit and at last we managed to find one women clinic which accepts for outpatient visit. This clinic very near to the place we rented and then I decided to follow up my pregnancy check up there since I find KK not good in pregnancy check. Whole weekend I fall sick and no energy to go anywhere. Xiang Gong very patient in taking care of me – bought me food and check my forehead temperature at day and night and wake me up when the time to have medicine. After fighting with the viruses for 3 days, my condition seems to be fine and can resume work on Monday. Many thanks to my Xiang Gong…muaks!
*Hope not to fall sick anymore throughout my pregnancy as I feel sorry when I take medicine as I scare the medicine prescribe by doctor somehow still will affect to Zi Zhen.
2nd Pregnancy Check at Klang 30 Nov 2009 – 12 weeks (Baby is taking shape!)

As I plan to deliver in Malaysia, must at least have check up and keep a record in Malaysia. I have decided to deliver at 1 of the famous gynae specialist in Klang, Selangor which undergoing renovation and expected completion in Feb 2010. At time when Zi Zhen due in either end May or early June of 2010 at least both of us can enjoy the new renovation facilities there.
Baby is taking shape, Week 12 ultrascan image
I was told by my mum if take more cashew nut can get more chance to have baby BOY. And basically baby gender can know at 3rd month pregnancy. I purposely bought a packet of cashew nut and eat before have my 3rd month pregnancy check at Klang. Regretfully, doctor said baby is too small can’t know the gender yet. And baby is taking shape at my 3rd month pregnancy!
1st feeling – Baby’s Heartbeat 13 Nov 2009

I still can remember the 1st feeling of Zi Zhen’s heartbeat which happens on 13 Nov 2009 (12 weeks). This happened at night when I chit chat with Xiang Gong on bed. Suddenly both of us can see something interesting – YES, we can see the “uneven” to my tummy. When we put our hands on tummy, we can feel baby’s heartbeat…”dup-dop…dup-dop”. More >
Mozart Songs for Baby & Mummy to Be

Xiang Gong brought me to shop Mozart music for our baby. At first, I don’t know about this till the promoter introduces to us the benefit of Mozart songs for Mum To Be. Zi Zhen likes these music very much. Whenever we play the music to him, he will respond to it.
Library
May 19th
Xiang Gong and I start to borrow and read book on pregnancy. I appreciate Xiang Gong’s efforts in getting to know more about pregnancy to understand the progress/ development of fetus and body change to mummy.
Reading in Library
In fact, my Xiang Gong reads more than me and will share with me knowledge he gained from book/ internet and will always remind me things to remember or something to be changed/ happened to my body/ to our baby. More >
Hormone Change
May 19th
There is hormone change in my 1st trimester pregnancy where my pimples take turn circulates around my right cheek while left cheek has nothing. Besides, my face skin dry and peel off easily. Luckily that was just a few pimples and dry skin gone after awhile. Besides, i understand cosmetics/ beauty product where the contained chemical will affect to fetus development. I only apply face moisturizer. There was no cosmetics, no lipsticks, no hair salon treatment throughout my pregnancy. More >
Moving House – Daily Meal – Exam

Our 1 year tenancy lease at Parc Oasis was ended on 30 Sep 2009 and there was no extension as existing owner intends to sell her unit to others. Xiang Gong and I were busy looking around room to rent in Jurong area as Sandilands is expected to complete in 1st quarter of 2010. We found a master room in Jurong West area which has to stay together with owner in the same unit. And the owner are not easy to get along with, and we have to bear with it for few months till completion of Sandilands.
Before move to Jurong West, we temporarily moved to one of my Company vacant apartment for 2 weeks where I hope to concentrate on my exam in early Oct 2009. Xiang Gong and I were showering with baby good news just only the week we moved into this unit. After knowing I am expecting, I was excited in spending my time with my baby and study less to grab more sleep to not affect fetus development. And this affected to my exam results also. But I don’t blame anyone because it’s worth more than whatever thing to spend time with my baby start from the second I knew his existence.
Start from the day I expecting, I changed my living and food style to stay more healthy for my baby goodwill. In the beginning, I was craving in mashed potato where Xiang Gong purposely bought me a big packet of mashed potato powder and we shopped lots of fruits and veggies as recommended by doctor.
Salad.. Salad.. I love you
Mashed Potatoes
Too bad, maybe I ate lots of fresh veggie salad and mashed potato every morning (breakfast) till I got phobia to salad throughout my pregnancy.
Emergency Brake – Fall Down in Company Transport

It was so scary when recall this incident which happened when Zi Zhen is about 4 weeks plus developed in my body. As usual I take company transport everyday to and from workplace to home. Incident happened when my driver slow down speed approaching to a roundabout to make a turn. Suddenly a lorry was approaching to our van from another direction and my driver brake immediately to avoid hitting by the lorry. I was chatting with my colleagues and doesn’t aware of lorry approaching and fall down from my seat when emergency brake. I hit my head and hurt my hands but not serious injured. This incident happened where I didn’t aware Zi Zhen is already 4 weeks plus in my body. Till 3 days after the incident I came to know i was expecting 5 weeks (2/10/2009) after visited to clinic. Xiang Gong and I were appreciating that Zi Zhen was not injured in that incident. We can confirmed that Zi Zhen is strong and firm enough when facing any difficulties where it applies to him since he start develop in my body. Thank you my dear baby for your strong determination in overcoming hard time with mummy.
After that incident, Xiang Gong refuses me to take company transport anymore and offer to ferry me to work everyday. Thank you dear for your caring of safety for Niang Zi & Zi Zhen. Eventhough I need to wake up early but I find it’s more safe and comfortable.
Naming for Our 1st Baby

Xiang Gong & Niang Zi have named for our 1st baby since day one when we expecting for his arrival. We have searched books for names of baby but we still find our ideal name for baby is the best – Huang (2) Zi (1) Zheng (4) . At that moment, we don’t know baby’s gender yet but I can read his heartbeat and movement to know it’s a BOY and we have named to correct gender. We like this name very much and start practice talking to our baby by calling him Zi Zheng. He seems to understand we are calling him and sometimes he will respond by kicking or moving in my tummy. His reaction proves to us that he likes this name as well. Thank you Zi Zheng for your commitment and response in helping us finalizing name for you. Zi Zheng, Zi Zheng…daddy and mummy welcome you!
Expression of Xiang Gong on baby news

Thanks GOD for this surprise present eventhough we have not well prepared yet. The most interesting thing was I share this news to Xiang Gong by calling him – he seems like not believe at all and thought I am joking with him. Cannot blame him also because both of us was disappointed by the previous 2 tests and didn’t put much expectation for this test. Eventually, I show him the pregnancy kit and the medicine given by doctor and he starts to believe this and his face appears excited and joyful of waiting for baby arrival. Too bad that i didn’t snap a photo or record his expression at that moment. Dear baby …. we are welcome you to be part of us – Home Is Where The Heart Is 
Our 1st Baby

Countdown to Delivery
Xiang Gong and Niang Zi dream come true eventually. Yes, it’s our 1st baby! Thank you for the great gift given and we are excited to welcome our 1st baby’s arrival (expected delivery date 06 June 2010).
It’s was so surprised when I came to know I am pregnant (test on 2 Oct 2009 – 5 weeks) as previously both of us went to see doctor for 2 times to check pregnancy due to delay in menses but both tests failed. So we didn’t expect much for this 1 week delay. It’s still fresh in my memory that I wake up late on that day and thinks of take MC and went to see doctor by giving excuse menses delay for 1 week. Actually this visit just to “cheat” MC and the doctor entertain my request also and asked for urine test to check for pregnancy. I did so and it was so shocked when doctor said I am pregnant for 5 weeks! It should be good news for me since I have been waiting for this. But may be this visit without company of Xiang Gong, my face doesn’t show excited to hear for this good news. May be Xiang Gong and I had planned to have baby only after we moved to our new house since past 8 months no news. And the worst thing is I ever thought I have difficulty to get pregnant due to my weakly body and think of adopt child if still cannot get our own baby. And now this thought can be vanished into air forever as GOD has given us a precious gift in our life! :)
