Mini BBQ in Bedok Reservoir Park

Our Landlord started serials of unreasonable restriction to us in the name of want to sell the 5 room HDB flat we rented.

First restricted tenant do not wash and hang clothes in the weekend when viewing normally take place. She started to push all the clothes to the end of balcony.

Now for no reason she wanted to clear the freezer section of fridge and theaten to throw away the food..

We have couple of food left over from previous BBQ in August, we decided to clear all of them by ourselves. We have a mini BBQ pit which can last 2 hours.

We brought all the food to the Bedok Reservoir and find the suitable place to start the fire. But the bad thing was the fire is too weak and the food still not yet defrooze. It took us very long time but still have food left over. This is a big different compare to previous BBQ.

At the end we still went to the coffee shop near by to eat some more. Sigh..

Anything and Whatever for free

I overheard from the Class 95 FM that they are distributing cartons of can drinks Anything and Whatever for free in Bishan Stadium. It was canceled on Wednesday due to raining and rescheduled to Thursday 6-7pm. This is their Car Decal Giveaway promotion.

I did not plan for this, and it happens that day I was able to leave the work earlier and since my daily routine trip will need to fetch my Niang Zi working in Toapayoh. Which is very near to Bishan. I decided to make a trip to Bishan.

Over the radio the DJ announced if anyone show them DBS or POSB credit card will get additional carton of Anything and Whatever for free. But I do not have any credit card with both of the bank. While we were queuing waiting for our turn at the Bishan Stadium carpark, I knew Niang Zi have a DBS ATM card, I asked her to show the card with DBS logo only, later we decided to show them the reverse side of the card.

By the time of my turn, I stopped the car and notice they already have 2 cartons ready to load in my car boot. I just showed them briefly the back side of the card. I believe they don’t really care with the card, all they want was to finish everything as soon as possible.

On the next day, Niangzi what to bring 1 carton of the can drinks to office as we cannot finish all by ourselves. After her trouble to bring the 24 cans to the office. Her boss did not even appreciated this yet criticize this is dishonest act.

This kinds of boss is really useless.
