Ajit,

We have no longer associated with P-Marshall (SangFei). However I have forwarded your request to P-Marshall team.
They will respond to your query by email.

Dear KC (assuming that you are the author of the blog from which I am sending this message),

I found your blog whilst searching for P-Marshall. When I saw the reference Sangfei, I knew that I am at the right place.

I purchased a Philips Xenium 9@9w in Colombo, Sri Lanka, exactly one year ago. Just before the 1 year warranty lapsed, the phone went dead.

When I was using the phone, my little son stepped on it and the fascia got cracked but the display worked as usual. When the local dealer saw the cracked screen (above the TFT LCD), it said phone has been dropped and the warranty is void. When I told about the problem they still gave the same reason. I left it with them for four days but it was returned back saying that the 9@9w cannot be repaired due to PCB damage.

When I submitted a request through the Customer Care page of www.philips.com.sg, there was a e-mail from James Lum of Sangfei.com as suggesting me to send the phone to P-Marshall in Singapore. Through my curiosity, I found that Sangfei is the OEM for Philips.

I wish to send the phone over to P-Marshall in Singapore but I need someone to hand carry it from Colombo because courier would not accept it for delivery. My only worry is about the replacement price of the PCB of the phone - I think there would have been a short circuit from the USB adapter.

Could you assist this unknown person, if you could tell me the price of a motherboard for a Dual SIM, Philips Xenium 9@9w and how much it would cost to replace the motherboard; front fascia and the battery cover?

You may not know but could you help me through your contacts at P-Marshall? I am willing to return the favour to you from Sri Lanka. What would llike to have from this end?

I hope you are not upset about this request of mine.

Thanks & Best Regards,

Ajit
