Shop Furniture for New Home 3@Sandilands
0We collected the furniture retail price from weekly newspaper to compare the price and the see if there any sales/ promotion going on. As confirmed to move in Sandilands on 2 May 2010, we started to shop new furniture for Sandilands. We have spent few weekends in searching for new bed, mattress, dining table, sofa, sofa bed, fridge, washing machine, TV console, lighting, curtain etc…it’s really tiring in searching all these goods. But we are satisfied with all the furniture purchased and it suits to Sandilands very much.
Shop for Baby Products
0It’s easier to shop for baby clothing after knowing baby’s gender. We have the concept that blue color is for boy while pink for girl. Anyway, Xiang Gong still bought of pink color clothing for Zi Zhen during his business trip to US as he said the clothing design he choose only have pink color available.

It’s so exciting to shop for baby product as you will find everything in cutie size. We have shopped of lots of baby products, eg. diapers, baby clothing detergent, bottles cleaner, clothing, shoes, feeding bottles, baby lotion, baby shower gel etc.

6th Pregnancy Check on 20 Mar 2010 – 28 weeks (Check if Baby got Chicken Pox infection)
0I visited to my gynae on the week after I back from Melbourne to find out if baby got any chicken pox infection. Luckily everything is normal from the ultrasound scan. But doctor told me that Zi Zhen is overweight compare to normal fetus weight progress and ask me to stop taking milk for 2 weeks and no sweet/chocolate or snack for these 2 weeks. Zi Zhen gained 500g in 3 weeks while I only gained 1 kg (mean both of us gain half!). Is it because of multi grain bread, honey comb or fruits (peach, grapes, strawberry, apples, etc) I took in the week we visited to Melbourne caused Zi Zhen overweight? After the incident of overweight, Xiang Gong not allows me to take sweet and fatty things where I have suffered a lot and sometimes curi-curi makan because of cannot tahan of the “bait”. Zi Zhen, please don’t gain the unnecessary weight or mummy will suffer for food till you give birth.
Melbourne Trip 6-14 March 2010 – Ng’s Sister got Chicken Pox
0Melbourne trip might be the last trip I can enjoy myself and spend time with Xiang Gong before Zi Zhen born. However, this trip is not much enjoyably as I expected as Ng’s sister got chicken pox on the 3rd day in Melbourne. Xiang Gong has never got chicken pox and I just had the vaccination for the past 4 years. The most panic for both of us is we scare Zi Zhen got infection to this. I was calling my gynae to consult what should I do to prevent baby from the infection. Shall I quarantine myself or keep a distance from Xiang Gong and Ng’s sister? But we stay in same apartment, same car, same dining table everyday. .. Luckily my gynae said my baby is now at 2nd trimester is safe enough and doesn’t matter if baby have infection at this period. Anyway, appreciate that Xiang Gong and Zi Zhen both have no infection after the 2nd week back from Melbourne.
5th Pregnancy Check on 27 Feb 2010 – 24 weeks (3D Ultrasound Scan)
0This was the 2nd visit to this gynae. Doctor did a 3D ultrasound scan for Zi Zhen where we can see more clearly in 3D dimension of baby feature. Zi Zhen is asleep in this photo.

Chinese New Year 2010 (CNY)
0This is the 2nd year I had Chinese New Year reunion dinner with NG’s family. This year we had our CNY reunion dinner at restaurant. There was lion dance and firework performance.
After finished the dinner, we head to Klang – I-city for lighting decoration.

There was crowded with people and car park lot is limited. We just passing by look around in car and took some pictures. At home, I got red packet from NG’s parents and elder sister in law. This year is the 1st year for both of us to give red packet to unmarried young children.
Valentine’s Day + 1st Anniversary 15 Feb 2010 – Roses Bouquet from Xiang Gong with deepest love from the sky SQ15
0This year CNY falls on Valentine’s Day. Xiang Gong gives me a surprise by ordering a bouquet of roses and send by delivery when he is away for business trip from the sky SQ15. I am so surprised and happy when I received these roses bouquet at office when I back from my lunch. All my colleagues very envy at me and I am so touch by the message from Xiang Gong:

Our love is a journey, with a beginning but no end. We will walk the path together forever with Zi Zhen.

Xiang Gong on business trip to US 8-13 Feb 2010
0There was a last minute call from Xiang Gong’s company to fly him on business trip to US on the week before CNY 8-13 Feb 2010. Due to peak season of CNY festival, most of the airlines have limited seat availability especially in return flight. We have no choice to change our plan to drive back to Klang at midnight just only when the flight arrive to Singapore as there sure heavy jam if we depart in daytime. Damn pity to Xiang Gong as he needs to drive straight away after took about 18 hours flight and have no much time for him to adapt with local time and left side driving (he got jet lag for about 10 hours and right side driving in US). We depart at 2.30am and reached Klang at 7.50am. At night, NG’s family has CNY reunion dinner at restaurant.
Xiang Gong left his car key with me when he is away for business trip. I was asked to drive his car to work. One night, I drove to Parc Oasis to collect our mails from the new owner. The car suddenly out of battery cannot start at all! I was panic because it’s happened in late night at 11.30pm. (more…)
4th Pregnancy Check on 23 Jan 2010 – 20 weeks (See the little hands & feets!)
0Finally I look for the gynae clinic which recommended by the GP doctor whose I did my urine test for pregnancy in Oct 2009. Luckily I find this gynae doctor is the best compare to other 2 gynaes I visited. And confirm will have my following check up at this gynae clinic as understand not good to keep changing gynae doctor as each doctor needs to follow up on the baby and mummy condition to have better understanding for the pre and post preparation to delivery. Doctor did a thoroughly check to my baby and confirm again is a BOY.
I like very much the ultrasound photo for this visit as I can see clearly the feature of my baby, especially his forehead and nose which 98% alike to Xiang Gong. Sure is a handsome little boy!
Down’s Syndrome Result collected on 7 Jan 2010
0After back from Taiwan’s trip, we went to clinic for the Down’s Syndrome test result. It’s greatly appreciated that Zi Zhen are 70-80% safe/ low risk of Down’s Syndrome (Age Risk = 1:1400, Down’s Risk = 1:770) and Edwards Syndrome (Age Risk = 1:14000, Edward’s Risk = 1:100000). This “looso” doctor eventually kena “bullet” from Xiang Gong as he keeps putting his own assumption that both of us quarrel due to no smiling face from our reaction after knowing the test result. In fact, we didn’t respond much to him as both of us don’t like him. Anyway, this is the last visit to this doctor as I have decided go back to the doctor recommended by the GP clinic which I visited for my urine pregnancy check.
NG’s family visit to Singapore 26-28 Dec 2009
0Ng’s Sister had 5 entrance tickets to Singapore Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park and the validity is before 31 Dec 2009. Xiang Gong and I have postponed our trip to Taiwan to 29 Dec 2009 (planned to go on 25 Dec 2009) because of his family visit to Singapore 26-28 Dec 2009. They took flight to Singapore on 26 Dec 2009 morning. We picked them up from Changi airport and straight check in to apartment at Parc Oasis I rented for their 2 nights stay. 1st day, we went for Boxing Day shopping at Orchard and Bugis Junction. I had shopped for some long pants for my trip to Taiwan (winter season) and shoes.
In the next morning, we visited to Singapore Bird Park and afternoon had lunch at Jurong Point – Pu Tian restaurant.

3rd Pregnancy Check on 24 Dec 2009 (16 weeks)-Xmas Eve Present – Is A BOY!
0I did my 3rd pregnancy check up at the clinic where I visited for my outpatient consultation on 11 Nov 2009. Xiang Gong and I went to see doctor on Xmas eve and hope to have some surprise present for our Xmas gift – gender of our baby. Even-though we don’t know baby gender yet, but we used to call our baby – Zi Zhen (boy’s name). Zi Zhen is now 16 weeks where it’s time to know baby’s gender. Doctor did a thoroughly check to my baby and surprisingly we find his “jiao jiao” through the ultrasound scan. We were so happy to know it’s a baby BOY and celebrate our Xmas Eve dinner – KFC (couple meal – Black Pepper chicken) at Jurong East Swimming Complex. Gender of baby is the Xmas present we had received. We are excited to look forward next year Xmas celebration with Zi Zhen.
Besides, doctor took my blood to check for Down Syndrome. This doctor is difficult to communicate and always argue with me and question back whatever question I throw to him. Xiang Gong and I dislike his attitude and decided to change to another gynae after have the result of Down Syndrome. We are very upset to this doctor because he didn’t save the baby picture for us to bring back. I got my baby photos for all my previous pregnancy visit. We felt frustrated because short of 1 baby photo for week of 16 – the week where we knew our baby gender…very ANGRY!
Mummy Fall Sick on 11 Dec 2009
0It’s troublesome for pregnant women to fall sick as pregnant women cannot simply take any medicine without doctor prescription. I seldom take MC unless I am really sick. On 11 Dec 2009, I was really sick and seem quite serious where I got virus infection to my sore throat, fever, running nose and coughing. I woke up in the morning and after having breakfast, I went to see doctor at nearby neighborhood clinic. The doctor is very un-professional when I told him my sickness and asked for medicine which will not affected to my baby. He asked me back what kind of medicine I wanted? In the end, I put aside the medicines given and look for 2nd doctor at night together with Xiang Gong.
We search around Jurong area to find if there any women clinic accepts for outpatient visit. Most of the women clinics only accept for pregnancy visit and at last we managed to find one women clinic which accepts for outpatient visit. This clinic very near to the place we rented and then I decided to follow up my pregnancy check up there since I find KK not good in pregnancy check. Whole weekend I fall sick and no energy to go anywhere. Xiang Gong very patient in taking care of me – bought me food and check my forehead temperature at day and night and wake me up when the time to have medicine. After fighting with the viruses for 3 days, my condition seems to be fine and can resume work on Monday. Many thanks to my Xiang Gong…muaks!
*Hope not to fall sick anymore throughout my pregnancy as I feel sorry when I take medicine as I scare the medicine prescribe by doctor somehow still will affect to Zi Zhen.
2nd Pregnancy Check at Klang 30 Nov 2009 – 12 weeks (Baby is taking shape!)
0As I plan to deliver in Malaysia, must at least have check up and keep a record in Malaysia. I have decided to deliver at 1 of the famous gynae specialist in Klang, Selangor which undergoing renovation and expected completion in Feb 2010. At time when Zi Zhen due in either end May or early June of 2010 at least both of us can enjoy the new renovation facilities there.

I was told by my mum if take more cashew nut can get more chance to have baby BOY. And basically baby gender can know at 3rd month pregnancy. I purposely bought a packet of cashew nut and eat before have my 3rd month pregnancy check at Klang. Regretfully, doctor said baby is too small can’t know the gender yet. And baby is taking shape at my 3rd month pregnancy!
1st feeling – Baby’s Heartbeat 13 Nov 2009
0I still can remember the 1st feeling of Zi Zhen’s heartbeat which happens on 13 Nov 2009 (12 weeks). This happened at night when I chit chat with Xiang Gong on bed. Suddenly both of us can see something interesting – YES, we can see the “uneven” to my tummy. When we put our hands on tummy, we can feel baby’s heartbeat…”dup-dop…dup-dop”. (more…)
