Marina Bay Fireworks from Singapore Flyer
I bring Niang Zi for our 1st Singapore Flyer ride on my birthday. This is part of birthday present for my dear Niang Zi. This was amazing experience as we watched fireworks from high angle. It’s very impressive as fireworks appear so near when we are in the capsule.
I have planed for the fireworks from Singapore Flyer more than 1 months ago. At first I was hesitated whether to book for 8:30pm or 9pm. From the website the fireworks start from 9pm. I bet the fireworks will be delayed. I bought 2 tickets for the express tiket which able to jump queue.
By the time we reached there is around 8:30pm due to massive traffic jam to Carpark. We already noticed a lot of people queue up for the 8:30pm ride. The staff there try very hard to convince customer to watch fireworks from the deck as the long queue inside will miss the fireworks. Since I’m holding the express ticket, in case I shall not miss it as long as I go in by 9pm sharp.
At 9pm the staff still refused to let us in the waiting area after I protested repeatly. They just ignore us. About 10 minutes later I saw the staff allow some of the normal ticket holder enter the waiting area. I bring my NiangZi and cross the rope to enter the waiting area. At the next gate, I told the gate keeper that the staff outside let us to go in as we holding express pass. After 2 more gates we reach the Singapore flyer capsule without any delay.
We are lucky to get express ticket and block by the staff outside with perfectly time the fireworks for us. The start time of fireworks actually delay to around 9:30pm due to raining.
The fireworks started when we happened on the top of the wheel which enable us to see the unblocked complete view of Marina Bay and impressive fireworks.
Full Bloom Fireworks
Another nice video of full bloom fireworks
High and low fireworks
The fireworks end just after we leave the capsule. This a very unique experience to view the firework from Singapore Flyer.
