Project Leadership Change
Wow.. another impressive project delivered by my team.
We have completed the last leg of MES implementation in new plant.
This project started back in Feb this year which launched by Corporate VP. With ERP and MES project run in parallel. In the course 6 months we have experienced local IT senior management change, local ERP lead change, ERP project manager change, and now another change in corporate senior management.
However what’s fortune is that the working level still continue to work towards the original goal and delivered as plan.
For local MES, we have completed several interface integration that have not planed since the project start. We received complaint from Customer of being slow and weak in IT. This did not disturb me as. I declared the new plan and delivered it on time.
The main contributing factor of successful project include a very corperative user champion who agree to proceed with production on Monday but fine tuning of the last minute requirement continue in parallel.
Tomorrow is the day we declared to whole world that new plant is ready for business.
But I have a meeting with corporate VP in the morning for briefing of corporate IT management changes. I’m not sure if this related to the outcome of the project or not..
