Today I have interview a candidate which shortlisted by my boss while I’m on holidays…
He is more then 10 years older than me with very relevant experience in the same industry…. I’m a bit surprise to see a 40+ Analyst Programmer which looks older than my boss.. haha.. At first not even know how to start the interview..

I’m just wondering where in the world can I find a programmer with that long experience of relevent skills set…. I’m not admire him.. just a bit pretty that he did not ask for more senior position…

In my view, that is no such thing as good and old programmer…. a good programmer with be advance in the career quick enough that such that no longer require the hand-on programming…
That’s how the cooperate works… I’m not discriminate against age… I would rather hire a young and creative programmer that have a lot of potential to growth..

This is just my 2 cents for today..
